Supporting River Rock Church with your Tithes and Offerings
Thank you for your prayerful consideration of supporting River Rock Church through giving tithes and offerings. We are committed to being good stewards of the resources that God has graciously provided us so that we may accomplish His will.
Some of you have asked how you can give back to God of your “first fruits” when you are out of town some Sundays and others of you no longer carry checks so we now offer secure online giving. You can setup weekly, monthly or yearly giving from checking, savings, debit or credit card and you can easily cancel or change the amounts without contacting anyone from our church. You can also setup multiple transactions like one recurring gift on the 1st and one recurring gift on the 15th or every two weeks. If you click on the security icon on the bottom right hand of the screen you can see the security certificate.
All Christ-followers should give to their church
Scripture makes it clear that every believer in every church should give (see 1 Corinthians 16:1-2). In this same passage, the Bible tells us that we should give regularly and consistently in proportion to what we earn. We also need to keep in mind that the Lord loves a cheerful giver (see 2 Corinthians 9:7).
Every Christ-follower should give back to God a portion of their income by supporting their local church. This is both an act of worship and an eternal investment into the Kingdom of God. Put God first with your finances and trust Him to provide all you need
(Test God in that! See Malachi 3:10 and Matthew 6:33).
